Jax and Miranda are on the verge of
making love in Australia. They go at it for a while, Jax eventually
forces himself to pull away. Jax and Miranda talk about their feelings.
These scenes are intertwined with Sonny & Brenda hospital scenes. Sonny
is thrilled to have Brenda by his side. They discuss the men who did
this to him. Mike frets over Sonny. The police come to investigate.
Sonny tells Brenda he thinks Jax might have set him up. She gets angry
at him for suspecting Jax. Sonny also worries that Brenda might be in
danger since they used her to lure him to the hospital. More Miranda and
Jax pouring over their feelings for each other. Jax asks Miranda to come
back to PC with him to get a divorce. He says they both need closure.
Miranda agrees.
S&B in the hospital. Sonny tries to
figure out who set him up. Jason arrives at the hospital very upset over
Sonny's near death. Everyone discusses the set up and overdose. The
police arrive to question Sonny. Taggert wants to arrest him. Jason
yells at Brenda for not hiding the heroin better. He later aplologizes
and thanks her for saving Sonny's life. A police sketch artist creates a
picture of Maryiln Cooper, the nurse who lured Sonny to the hospital.
Jax arrives at the hospital. He is none to pleased to find Brenda with
Sonny. Sonny taunts Jax. J&B talk. He wants to know why she's with
Sonny. She explains to him what happened. Jax thinks Sonny is a druggie.
Brenda then sees that Miranda is back in PC and is not to pleased
either. Mike with Sonny they discuss Brenda. Mike wants Sonny to fight
for Brenda. Jax, Miranda, and Brenda in the hospital. Miranda learns
Katherine Bell has been shot and rushes off to go see her. Brenda wants
to know why Miranda is back. Sonny gets a call from Marylin Cooper in
the hospital just as the people who set him up kill her. He runs to get
the police. He's thrilled to see Miranda is back in town. J&B go home.
At home, things are awkward between J&B.
Brenda asks Jax if he slept with Miranda in Australia and is extremely
relieved when he says no. They let thier walls come down and finally
make love (and boy is it hot). It's christmas time in Port Charles. J&B
set off to find a christmas tree. At the christmas tree place Sonny,
Mike, and his bodyguards are looking for the perfect tree. The owner of
the tree farm is a young couple and when the woman goes into labor Sonny
and his bodyguard Joseph agree to stay and run the place for them while
Maria and her husband go to the hospital to have their baby. Sonny and
Joseph put on their Santa hats and get to work. All of PC ends up at the
tree farm. Really funny scenes with Sonny and the Qs and a ton of other
PC residents (sonny scams Edward LOL.) J&B arrive to find their
christmas tree. Brenda cannot stop giggling when she sees Sonny and
Joseph in their Santa hats. Jax is less than thrilled and ribs Sonny.
Brenda wishes Sonny a merry christmas. After a few snide remarks b/w Jax
and Sonny, J&B leave for the GH christmas party. Heartwarming
scenes with J&B at the GH christmas party. The whole cast is involved.
Tony is Santa Clause while Alan reads the christmas story to the kids. A
montage plays at the end with Ned singing "I'll be home for christmas."
The next morning Brenda is reading the
paper looking for news of Marylin Cooper and the men who tried to kill
Sonny. Marylin Cooper has turned up dead. Jax warns her to stay
out of it. She then tells him her real insecurities, saying she worried
about he and Miranda. Jax carries her on for a love making session.
Sonny arrives at J&B's PH to tell Brenda to stay out of the
investigation. Jax is pissed and kicks him out after Brenda promises
Sonny she will stay out of the investigation. After Sonny leaves, Jax
warns her again to stay out of it as it's a dangerous situation that
Sonny's using to manipulate her. Brenda agrees, Jax leaves. Sonny
calls Brenda again and makes her promise to stay out of it. Brenda
promises. In typical Brenda fashion she the proceeds to head out and do
some investigating on her own. Brenda goes to where Maryiln works and
poses as her sister to get information. Sonny tells Mike that he thinks
Brenda is up to no good. Jax finds Miranda crying at the hospital, he
holds her while she cries. Miranda is worried about Katherine, and it's
making Miranda recall her own accident. Jax and Miranda discuss the
past, these scenes are intertwined with Brenda getting information about
Mariyn Coopers coworkers. Brenda then heads to see Sonny to tell her
what she's learned. Sonny is ticked because she had just promised him
that she would stay out of this mess. They argue and Brenda tells him
she feels responsible for him after she saved his life. More Jax and
Miranda scenes at the hospital hashing out thier past.
It's New Years. J&B go to the Q's New
Years Party. Ned and Jax talk about business while Brenda talks to Lila.
Lucy and Sonny at Luke's, they discuss his feelings for Brenda.
Brenda and Ned talk about his sadness over not getting to see his baby
on a daily basis. Montage with "The Way You Look Tonight" playing
when the clock strikes midnight, J&B dance and kiss. J&B at the Outback
the next morning. Brenda asks Jax to let her help Sonny find out who
killed him. Sonny and Miranda talk at Luke's about J&B. Funny scene
where Lucy meets Miranda lol. At the PC grill, Ned interrupts Jax and
Brenda's discussion. He blackmails Jax. Ned wants Jax to sell his ELQ
shares or else he'll drag Miranda's name through the mud. Brenda is
furious at Ned for using the things she told him in confidence against
Jax. They fight. Jax agrees to the deal. Ned leaves, Jax tells Brenda
that he doesn't like her investigating Sonny's set up but he's not going
to stop her. This is the beginning of S&B playing detective.
Brenda goes to tell Sonny she's going to
help him find the people who are trying to kill him. Sonny of course is
thrilled since he wants Brenda back, however he is antsy about her being
in danger. Jax coddles Miranda at the hospital. Brenda goes to Marylin
Cooper's apartment to investigate. Sonny grabs her from behind, scaring
her to death. The bad guys come and S&B are forced to hide in the
closet. Sonny has flashbacks of his stepfather abusing him. The bad guys
leave, Brenda forces him to tell her what's wrong. He explains to her
about his abusive step father. At the hospital, Jax and Mac convince
Miranda to stay in Port Charles for good. Brenda leaves the apartment
when Sonny forces her too. She tells him nothing is over. She goes to
the hospital and sees Miranda and Jax together. Jax informs her that
Miranda is staying in PC at his request. This upsets Brenda.
Later Jax calls Miranda, he wants to see
her tonight to discuss the details of their divorce. Brenda and Sonny
arrive at Mac's to ask him question about Marylin Coopers phone records.
Miranda hangs up with Jax and goes to get Mac. S&B and Mac discuss
Sonny's set up. Brenda leaves to go see Jax. Miranda and Sonny talk.
Brenda returns home to Jax and tells him about her day of playing
detective with Sonny. He tells her he's having dinner with Miranda.
Sonny urges Miranda to fight for Jax. They discuss J&B. J&B talk about
being mature. They discuss the fun times they had before everything got
so heavy. Brenda realizes what's most important in her life, so when Jax
leaves to go see Miranda - she goes to Sonny to end things. Great S&B
scenes. She explains to Sonny that she's been using him this whole time
to make Jax jealous because she was so insecure over Miranda and that's
she's sorry for it. But that she feels herself falling and doesn't like
it. Sonny tells Brenda that he loves her and that he's always loved her
and that everything he's done with Miranda has been to get Brenda back.
Brenda gets upset that Sonny is trying to hurt Jax. She loves Jax and
wants a future with him, she walks out on a distraught Sonny. He tells
her that she's lying to herself and that she will be back.
Meanwhile, Jax and Miranda are sharing a
cozy night at Mac's house. They have pizza and discuss the fun things
they used to do together. Miranda teases him about always wearing suits.
Things get serious when Jax wants to give Miranda a divorce settlement.
She refuses, he asks her to at least think about it. She agrees. Jax
leaves. Sonny goes to visit Lily's grave. He buries her wedding ring in
the show saying she taught him how to love but that he can't fight for
Brenda with her ring on his finger. J&B cuddle on the couch back at the
PH. A man brings flowers to Lily's grave after Sonny leaves and digs up
the ring he buried. Sonny and Jason talk about Sonny's dangerous life
and how it's almost gotten Brenda killed time and time again. Sonny
wants to make it safe for her to come back. J&B discuss Miranda a little
more and plan their New Orleans wedding. Jax proposes to Brenda again.
She gleefully accepts but wants to wait to put on the new ring - she's
afraid they will jinx themselves. Sonny gets used to life without his
wedding ring. We see a man with Sonny's wedding ring rip up a picture of
Brenda. Sonny and Jason talk about the people who are tried to
kill him. They can't figure out who did it. Sonny thinks it's personal.
Brenda and Jax at the PH discuss their New Orleans wedding plans some
more.
In the middle of their discussion,
Miranda calls Jax. She wants him to come over to see her new apartment.
Jax runs off to go be with Miranda leaving Brenda at the PH. We see
Brenda's mysterious stalker making a gift for her. At Luke's Mike
encourages Sonny to fight for Brenda again. Sonny tells him to butt out
LOL. Brenda's stalker delivers flowers to her. She thinks they flowers
are from Jax. Jax and Miranda at her apartment. He's helping her move
in. When Miranda's bookcase collapses, Jax calls Brenda to let her know
he will be a little longer. She thanks him for the flowers. Jax tells
her he didn't send her flowers. Jax get pissed, he thinks Sonny sent
them to Brenda. They hang up. Jax gets Miranda to agree to a monetary
divorce settlement while Brenda investigates her mysterious flowers.
Thinking Sonny sent them, she runs off to go confront him at Lukes.
Brenda's stalker prepares another delivery for her. Brenda yells at
Sonny for sending her the flowers, Sonny denies all saying he didn't
sent them. He is forced to manhandle her when she won't stop yelling.
Sonny brought Robin in to surprise Jason and Brenda's yelling would have
ruined it. Sonny lets her go and they discuss the flowers. Brenda
believes him when she says he didnt' sent the flowers.
At Miranda's house, Jax finds the love
letters he wrote to her. He reads them and has flashbacks. Miranda sees
him reading them and they talk about the past and how happy they were.
At Luke's Sonny brings Brenda out to see Robin, they happily reunite and
toast to Jason's first birthday as Jason Morgan. Sonny secretely tells
Jason about the person sending Brenda the mysterious gifts and orders
guards put on Brenda. During the toast to Jason Brenda drops her glass
when she sees that Sonny has taken off his wedding ring. She rushes out
in a hurry. Robin and Sonny clean up the mess while talking about Sonny
moving on with Brenda.
Brenda returns home to Jax. Jax still
thinks Sonny sent her the roses, she tries to convince him that Sonny
didn't sent them. They share a dance and cuddle. They talk about
Miranda. Brenda is afraid Miranda is more suitable for Jax than she is.
In a cute little scene Brenda translates a scene of Shakesphere that Jax
recites LOL. Brenda goes upstairs. Jax notices another present Brenda's
stalker has delivered. Jax calls security and tells them to make sure
Sonny stays away from the penthouse. Jax hides the truth from Brenda.
They run upstairs to make love. Hot scene with Brenda and Jax in towels.
It's the morning of Jax and Miranda's divorce trip. Sonny shows up at
Miranda's to urge her to fight for Jax. At the PH Jax gets the newspaper
and sees someone outside his door. He sneaks up on them. It's one of
Sonny's guards. Jax holds a gun on him and tells him to go back and tell
his boss that Jax will be seeing him soon. A flustured Jax goes back
inside the penthouse. Brenda can tell something's wrong but thinks it's
about Miranda and his feelings over their upcoming divorce. Brenda finds
the book of poems Jax is going to give Miranda and is unsettled by it.
Jax leaves to go on his divorce trip. Robin stops by to see Brenda.
Brenda sees that Jax left the book and decides she's going to bring it
to Miranda. Jax goes to see Sonny and and interwining scenes Jax is
telling Sonny to stay away from Brenda while Brenda is telling Miranda
to get her own life and let Jax go.
