Brenda and Jax wave goodbye to Ned and Lois
with Tracey screaming after them lol. Brenda forgot something and walks
back into the outback only to see Sonny starting off into space. She
knows he's thinking of Lily and feels sad for him. Jax takes Brenda
home. Brenda is swamped with calls from L&B and from modeling. Jax acts
as her secretary. J&B prepare for a modeling shoot in their home for a
magazine. Brenda gets nervous. Alan wants to use Sonny's money for the
AIDS ward at GH to save the hospital. Brenda goes to see Alan. Tracey
visits Jax at the penthouse- she haggles him about Brenda and Sonny and
they discuss ELQ. Sonny declines Alan's request and Brenda overhears
their discussion from the doorway. Sonny leaves, he sees Brenda standing
there and look uncomfortable. Brenda tries to explain Sonny to Alan. She
tells Alan she needs more pain meds - her hip is still bothering her
from the hit and run. Tracey and Jax talk more about their ELQ takeover.
Tracey leaves just before Brenda returns home. Lucy arrives and wants to
direct the photo shoot. Brenda tells her that she wants just her and Jax
to be there. Lucy agrees to her idea and leaves. Brenda pops pills to
calm her nerves. The photographer arrives - J&B pose together. Then Jax
watches Brenda as she daydreams while the photographer takes his photos.
She's thinking about Sonny & Lily. Jax can tell something's wrong.
Brenda takes a nap on the couch and wakes up screaming. She's very
upset and finally talks to Jax about her role in Lily's death (good
scene.) Brenda is guilt ridden as she thinks she's the one who killed
Lily due to her refusal to let Sonny go. Jax tells Brenda she needs to
move on so they can be happy together.
Q mansion, Lois, Ned, Tracey, & Sonny. Lois
calls Brenda in Australia (Lois can't get ahold of her and announces Jax
must have her out for the day). Sonny looks bothered at the news. Brenda & Jax return from Australia at meet Lois and Ned at
Kelly's. Before Lois
and Ned arrive they witness Sonny beating up a man. Ned & Lois arrive,
the girls gush together. Brenda is sad when Lois tells her she and Ned
are moving to California. In Kelly's Brenda overhears Sonny tell someone
on the phone that Robin and Jason are missing. She's really worried.
Sonny promises to call when he hears something. Jax walks up. Lois, Ned,
Brenda, Jax, Tracey, & Monica at the Qs. Tracey is happy to see Brenda
and Jax back from Australia. Brenda rolls her eyes. They discuss Jason
being attacked and Robin. Dillon (Tracey's son) steals a little palm
tree from Lois's purse. Lois spazzes, and Tracey and Lois argue (lol.)
Brenda takes Lois out onto the Terrace to calm her down. Sonny
calls Brenda to let her know Robin is ok. Tracey corners Jax at the Qs,
Ned overhears them.
Back at the Penthouse, Brenda worries over
Robin. Jax comforts her. Brenda tells Jax how wonderful he is, she gives
him a present. He's touched. Brenda goes to see Robin and Jason in the
hospital. Sonny is also there. He watches Brenda intently as she fusses
over Jason. He can see how worried she is over Robin and tries to
reassure her that Robin will be ok. Tracey and Jax plot at the PH. They
are giddy over conquering ELQ. Ned surprises them by showing up at Jax's
door. Tracey runs to hide upstairs. At the hospital Brenda and Sonny
laugh at what a bad patient Jason is. Alan and Sonny get into an
argument. Brenda breaks them up and takes Sonny back to his penthouse.
Jax and Ned spare, Jax knows that Ned knows something is up. Ned leaves,
Jax and Tracey get a little nervous. Back at Sonny's penthouse, Brenda
and Sonny have a really intense discussion over her part in Lily's death
and how much guilt Brenda feels. Sonny isn't happy, he wants Brenda to
leave it alone preferring to share his hell alone. Brenda refuses to be
shut down and, in a really good scenes explains her feelings. Gina then
rings the doorbell, interrupting them. Brenda is ticked and leaves.
Brenda goes home to Jax. They hug, he tells
her he missed her :) She notices a cigar in their ashtray, Jax covers
saying a business associate left it. Jax is reading the paper as Brenda
comes downstairs in her sexy nighty. She wants Jax to stop working and
come join her in bed. Just as she's convinced him to give up his
newspaper and concentrate on her, the phone rings. It's Tracey. In a
totally hilarious and EXTREMELY sexy scene, Brenda starts taking Jax's
clothes off and kissing his chest while he's talking to Tracey on the
phone (she doesn't know it's Tracey.) LOL, Jax can barely stand what
Brenda is doing to him. He quickly hangs up and he and Brenda make love
on his desk :-D
The next day at the gatehouse, Brenda and
Jax arrive and interrupt Tracey, Lois, and Ned. Brenda shows Lois
picture of her and Jax in Australia while Jax and Ned discuss business.
At this point both Lois and Ned know Jax is in cahoots with Tracey to
take over ELQ. Neither one tell Brenda. Jax & Brenda and Ned & Lois all
go to Robin's going away party at Luke's. She's going to college at
Yale. Most all of PC is there. Brenda and Robin talk about her HIV, they
talk about how much they are going to miss each other. Jax sits down with
them, bringing them all kinds of food. Lois & Ned discuss Jax. The next
day, Jax chases Brenda down the stairs with a shaving cream bottle. She
squirted him with shaving cream and he's out for revenge LOL. He catches
her, and they fall on the couch making love. They bask in the afterglow
of it on the couch. Very sexy scene, Jax licks Brenda's back and refuses
to let her leave lol. Brenda comes down fully dressed, she leaves to go
see Lucy and in parting tells Jax how much she loves their life
together. He glows, she leaves.
Jax calls Tracey and tells her it's safe to
come over. Brenda in the Jacks Cosmetic's main office with Lucy's
assistant looking at her photo shoot shots. Brenda's unhappy with them..
She wants to show them to Jax before approving them. She goes home to
the PH. Jax and Tracey plan a new strategy for ELQ. Tracey tries to get
Jax in bed again. He tells her he's in love with his wife. Brenda comes
home early and overhears Tracy and Jax's plan to takeover ELQ. Brenda
makes excuses and leaves. She goes to the gatehouse to tell Lois and Ned
exactly what she overheard. Of course Lois and Ned already know about
Jax and Tracey's plan but neither of them let Brenda know that. Brenda
and Sonny meet at Kelly's. She tells him that she understands why he
lied to her about his business for all those years but wants to know if
he had been involved in a legitimate conglomerate would he still have
felt the same way. Sonny tells her that he would have made the same
decision because he wanted to protect her from the choices he had to
make. Sonny guess's that she's asking because it has something to
do with Jax, but Brenda clams up and doesn't reveal the truth. Back at
the PH, Jax is pacing. He's anxious over Brenda not returning home.
Finally Brenda returns home. Jax tells her he's taking over ELQ. Brenda
is shocked and upset that he's hurting her friends like this. Jax
explains his position and tries to make her understand that this is just
business. Brenda tries to understand, and tells him it better be a
friendly takeover. She tells him how she appreciates him telling her the
truth. He puts his head in her lap and pulls her into a kiss.
Later Brenda shows Jax her "She'll Never
Forget You" campaign shots taken the day she was daydreaming about Sonny
and Lily & their baby - she doesn't like the pictures but Lucy loves
them and wants to use them for the campaign add. Jax tells Brenda the
photo is compelling and it's because he knows she was thinking of Sonny.
They talk about Sonny, Brenda tells him that yes she was thinking about
Sonny that day because of the guilt she felt over her part in his
unhappiness. Jax tells her that her thoughts are her own and she doesn't
owe him an explanation. Brenda says she wants so much to make him
happy. They kiss. Ned comes to the penthouse and threatens Jax. He says
if ELQ goes down so does J&J Jacks. They spare, Brenda has to
separate
them. Neither one backs down, Brenda gives up and goes to sit on the
step while they continue to face off. Finally Ned leaves after getting a
call from Edward. Brenda is irritated at Jax and tells Jax Ned is right.
Tracey shows up at the Penthouse while Brenda is upstairs and tells Jax
Lois is blackmailing her. They leave to go talk privately. Brenda gets a
call from Gloria, Lois's mother. Lois is in the hospital having labor
pains. Brenda runs to be with Lois in the hospital. In New York, Edward
and Ned are arguing, Edward wants Ned back at ELQ. Gloria interrupts them
calling to tell them about Lois. Ned rushes back to PC. Brenda and Lois
in the hospital ( really great scenes. ). They hug and Lois tearfully
tells her about Tracey and how Lois knew about Jax and Tracey taking
over ELQ but kept it from Brenda. Brenda is shocked that she knew and
didn't tell her. Lois tearfully apologizes and tells her it's an example
of how the Qs and Tracey have turned her into a mean person. Brenda
tells her it's ok, she understands and all that's important right now is
for her to get well. Brenda talks to the baby. So cute. Justus and Sonny
discuss ELQ. Sonny finds out about Jax taking over ELQ. He's pissed.
Then Edward calls and telling him about Lois being in the hospital.
Sonny heads off to the hospital as well. More sweet Lois and Brenda
hospital scenes. Lois is so scared that Ned's kind of life is turning
her into someone she doesn't want to be and is hurting her baby.
Ned arrives at the hospital. Lois, Brenda,
& Ned scenes. The doctor arrives and tells them everything is ok with
the baby. Everyone is thrilled. Ned thanks Brenda for taking care of
Lois. Sonny arrives all worried. They tell him that it was a false
alarm and everything is fine. Ned and Lois leave. Sonny lays into Brenda
and reams her out for sticking by Jax after he betrayed Lois. Brenda
defends Jax and tells Sonny she is loyal to Jax and will always stand by
his side. She says it's not Jax that hurt Lois, it was Tracey. Brenda
tells Jax she is lying to herself and betraying her best friend by
standing up for Jax. Brenda yells right back and eventually walks out on
Sonny. Sonny goes home to his penthouse and rants to Jason about Jax and
the ELQ takeover. He can't stand the fact that Brenda is standing by Jax.
He also tells Jason how Brenda betrayed him by wearing a wire (Sonny is
an ass plain and simple. I can't believe he blames her for that
considering he got her shot at and lied to her for year GRR). Jason is
extremely upset at Brenda and doesn't understand why Sonny doesn't hate
her. Sonny says he did hate her for a long time but that you don't
always love who's best for you.
Back at the Jax's penthouse, Brenda is
waiting for Jax when he returns for seeing Tracey. She tells him she
knows he was with Tracey. Jax thinks she's jealous. Brenda scoffs and
tells him about Lois almost losing her baby. She and Jax have a huge
argument and thinks he's partly responsible for this whole mess. She
wants him to stop hurting her friends. Jax again tells her it's just
business and not personal. This only ticks Brenda off more. They argue,
she thinks he won't back down because of his ego. He then explains to
her about his childhood and past and how living in poverty as a kid
taught him never to give up and this is why he won't give up on ELQ.
Brenda is touched and thanks him for sharing his life with her. It's
something she treasures. Brenda tells Jax she has to leave for a while
to clear her head. He's upset and thinks she's disgusted with him. She
assures him that, that isn't the case. She just needs time to think.
Brenda goes to the gatehouse to check up on
Lois. Lois tearfully informs her that she's leaving Ned. She tells
Brenda that his life and the life of his family is turning her into
someone she doesn't want to be, and that she's scared for her child.
Brenda is extremely upset and thinks Lois is making the wrong decision.
Lois and Brenda cry and hug and say goodbye. Ned comes back looking very
sad. Brenda is very upset. She goes home to Jax. They have another huge
fight when she blames him for what's happening to Lois and Ned. Jax gets
Brenda to calm down. She tearfully tells him that she's losing everyone
and it really hurts. He hugs her and tells her that she will never lose
him. Later that night Brenda and Jax cuddle in a chair. Brenda has to
leave for her Jack's cosmetics tour tomorrow. She doesn't want to leave
him.
The next morning, it's time for Brenda to
leave on her tour. Jax tells Brenda they are going to see each other
every three days. She's happy. They talk about what they are going to
miss most about each other (awww). At the gatehouse, Sonny shows
up to check on Lois. Brenda arrives soon after to say goodbye to Ned and
give him her itinerary. Ned leaves Brenda to tell Sonny about Lois
leaving. Brenda tells him. Sonny blasts Jax and blames him for causing
Lois all of this pain. Brenda defends Jax, and Sonny reams her out some
more. Back at the Penthouse, Tracey shows up at Jax's PH. Jax gives her
the kiss off. He tells her their partnership is over. Tracey is pissed.
Sonny goes to Luke's and tells Mike about Jax's ELQ takeover. He makes
fun of Jax and tells Mike he's going to make sure Jax goes down. Mikes
asks about Brenda. This sets Sonny off. He is so angry that Brenda is
standing by Jax. Back at the Penthouse, Brenda and Jax reaffirm their
love and say goodbye and Brenda goes off on her tour. There's a big
board meeting announcing Ned's return as CEO to ELQ. Jax arrives and
tells everyone that he's surrendering. They won this round and he now
supports Ned. Sonny arrives and starts slamming Jax. The whole family is
there. Tracey shows up and plays nice. Ned plays the tape of Tracey
abusing Lois. The Qs disown Tracey and throw her out.
Brenda and Jax have breakfast over the
phone. He puts pearls in her oysters. Tracey interrupts their breakfast.
Tracey tries to blackmail Jax into giving her money. She tells him that
if he doesn't give him money then she's going to tell Brenda about they
had an affair. Jax laughs and throws her out. Tracey invites Sonny to
her fleabag motel. She tries to get money out of him and when he blows
her off she brings up Brenda. She tells him that Jax has been using
Brenda from the start as a way to get to Ned and now is only keeping her
around as a way to stick it to Sonny. Sonny fumes and goes to Jax's
Penthouse. Meanwhile Brenda has returned home to surprise Jax. They
eagerly make love and are laying in each others arms on the couch when
Sonny bangs on the door. Brenda goes upstairs. Sonny strolls in, and
sees clothes strewn everywhere and thinks Jax is cheating on Brenda.
They get into it, Sonny hits Jax. Brenda runs downstairs. They all argue
and Sonny tells Brenda she needs to see Jax for the user he is. After
restraining Jax a few more times from pounding Sonny, Brenda reams Sonny
out herself. Sonny leaves. Brenda and Jax fight about Sonny. Jax trashes
Sonny as a liar and a manipulator mobster. Brenda tries to defend Sonny
which only inflames Jax. Eventually they kiss and make up.
Later, Jax proposes to Brenda again. He
wants to get married the right way - in front of all their family and
friends. He wants her to have the wedding of her dreams. Sonny talks to
Mike about ELQ, Brenda, Jax, & Lois. Mike is concerned about Brenda
getting hurt. Sonny is cruel. Jax & Brenda continue to plan their
wedding. Brenda tells Jax he is her family now, the decide to marry on
November 5th. Brenda wants to honeymoon in Australia, Jax gets antsy and
doesn't want to go there. Clearly something is wrong and he's keeping
something from Brenda. Brenda invites Ned over and asks him to give her
away at the wedding. Ned hates Jax, but tries to but that aside and be
happy for Brenda. Brenda also tells Ned about Sonny hitting Jax. Jax and
Brenda cuddle before she goes off on her Jack's cosmetics tour again.
Ned goes to Sonny to ask him to get dirt on Jax. Jax calls his father to
tell him about the wedding. John is thrilled with the news. John also
tells Jax that he's glad Jax is letting "her" go. More Ned and
Sonny. Sonny goes to Luke's to grill Mac about Jax. Brenda calls Jax
from her tour in a panic. She needs some moral support, she's nervous
about the public appearance she's about to Jax. Sonny grills Mac more,
Mac refuses to tell Sonny anything other than he hates Jax. On the
phone, Jax gives Brenda some funny advice on public speaking. They hang
up. Brenda pops a pill and goes of to speak. Katherine shows up at Jax's
penthouse. She wants to be the wedding coordinator for he and Brenda's
wedding.
