Jax tells an excited Brenda that he's taking
her to Malibu by train. J&B find themselves on the divorce train from
hell. They are on there with a bunch of couples who are on the verge of
divorce. J&B figure out it was Jerry who did this to them lol. Jax reams
out Jerry over the phone while Brenda buys Jax a present. It's a little
train figure. J&B finally arrive at the Malibu mansion. More sweet
scenes. Jax tries to get Brenda to drink one of his health shakes. They
have a heartfelt conversation where Brenda again tells him how much she
loves him. They go off to spend the day together. Long montage of J&B
having fun in Malibu plays to the song "Love Is." Back at the mansion
J&B agree to meet on the beach at. At the beach Jax finally accepts
Brenda's marriage proposal. Sonny returns to PC. He's there because a
rival mob boss is threatening Jason. His name is Carlos and they are
trying to find out who Carlo's is secret partner is.
That night, J&B discuss their wedding. In PC,
Robin tells Sonny about Brenda's breakdown. He's horrified. In Malibu,
J&B talk more about their love. Jax tells Brenda she taught him how to
try again. They make love and bask in the afterglow of it. Back in PC
J&B go to Katherine and Stefan's ball. They dance but hide their
engagement from everyone except for Robin. She is so happy for them.
Katherine falls off the parapet at Wyndemere. J&B return to Brenda's
cottage. Brenda wants to make love but Jax thinks she should get some
sleep since she is still recovering from her plane crash ordeal. Brenda
sleeps on the couch but hears about Katherine's accident on the radio.
When she goes to call Robin at Jason's, Sonny answers but doesn't say
anything. Brenda knows it's him and goes to the PH.
These S&B scenes are probably the best they
ever had. Brenda explains what loving him has done to her and why she
has let go. They say goodbye for good. Sonny later tells Jason he will
love Brenda forever and die seeing her face. Brenda goes back to Jax's
PH. She tells him that she went to see Sonny. He already knew. They have
a heart to heart and Brenda tells him that she loves only him forever
and always. They kiss. Jax surprises Brenda by taking her to the
Isabella. He proposes to her again and gives her a pink saphire that was
once given by Napoleon to the Empress Josephine. They make love in a
montage to "Love Is." Jason and Sonny in Puerto Rico. They are still
trying to stop the threat against Jason. Jason realizes that Sonny hates
living in Puerto Rico and wants him to move back to PC. Now that Brenda
is married, he won't be a threat to her. Sonny admits that he wants
Brenda back. He explains that he can't live in the same city with her
and not be with her. If he moved back, then he would fight for her and
he can't do that to her again, not after she told him about her
breakdown.
J&B return to PC. Brenda is at the Outback
talking with Robin. Brenda tells her about her trip with Jax and that
she saw Sonny. She tells Robin it's truly over with Sonny and she's
never going to look back again. Jax and Jerry meet them there. J&B tell
him about their engagement. He's excited. In Puerto Rico, Sonny and
Jason find out that Jerry Jacks is Carlos's silent partner and is in
debt to Carlos up to his eyeballs. Sonny is worried about it effecting
Brenda. J&B are on the verge of making love outside the PH lol. They run
inside. Brenda gets a message that she has a photoshoot in Paris. She is
terrified of flying and wants to cancel the shoot. She and Jax talk
about her fears, he does a little visualization thing wtih her to try
and cure her fears. It doesn't work. Brenda wakes up from a nightmare
about her plane crash. Jax comforts her saying he will never let
anything hurt her again.
Brenda goes on her photo shoot in NYC with
Robin and Emily in tow. Jax is there too for some of it. He brings her
roses. Montage of her photo shoot plays. Brenda is fast asleep in her
hotel room in NYC. Jax sneaks in and kisses her awake. He does a little
strip tease. So cute. J&B have brunch and discuss Brenda's career as a
model. The yadda yadda yadda scene where Jax teases Brenda about her
need to be independent and they get into a pillow fight ;-) They get all
dressed up and go to the theater. Jax surprises Brenda by having a
candelight dinner on stage in the theater. Brenda does a monologue from
her childhood. J&B dance and kiss the night away. J&B on the train ride
home from NYC. They discuss Sonny and going to the Nurses Ball. J&B have
dinner at the PC grill. They have a very long talk about Brenda and her
memories of her mother. Brenda goes to Nurses Ball practice. Robin is
there worrying about Jason. Brenda and Robin discuss their different
experiences living with mobsters.
It's Nurses Ball time. "Celebration" plays to
a montage of everyone goes to the Ball. J&B arrive. Various Nurses Ball
acts including "Big Spender." Sonny appears in the middle of Brenda's
number, throwing both her and Jax for a loop. Lucy of course ends up in
her underwear. Brenda's back at her cottage after the Nurses Ball. Mike
comes to see her, they have a long talk about Sonny. Jax goes to see
Sonny and tells him to stay away from Brenda. Great scene. Probably the
best Sonny/Jax exchange ever. Sonny tells Jax Jerry is involved with the
mob and owes Carlos, a rival mobster who is after Jason, a fortune. Jax
returns to Brenda's cottage where she is waiting him. They discuss
Sonny's appearance, Jax doesn't get tell her about Jerry. Sonny goes to
see Mike at his bar. Sonny gets hauled down to the police station and is
questioned by Mac.
Brenda brings Jax food at the PH. She can
tell something is wrong. He finally tells her about Jerry and his mob
ties. Jerry meets with a mysterious man on the docks who gives him the
bomb he ordered. Sonny, Robin, and Jason go for a walk on the docks.
Sonny talks about Brenda. Back at the PH, Jerry comes over and has
dinner with J&B. Brenda goes upstairs and listens to their convo from a
hiding place at Jax's request. Jerry lies to Jax about his mob ties.
Jerry leaves, Brenda comforts Jax, they make love in a montage where we
all see Jerry setting a bomb in a warehouse. Sonny and Luke talk about
Brenda, Jerry, and his mob ties. Sonny tells Luke he is here to save
Brenda again as she could be hurt by Jerry's mob associations. J&B share
a tender moment at the PH. She goes off to a meeting while Jax goes off
to see Sonny. Jerry fixes his bomb.
