Replay the Brenda/Jason stuff. Jason calls Brenda's
guards and tells them not to let Brenda see them. Jax comes by. Brenda
shows him her new couch. Jax can tell something is wrong with her, she
tells him about Jason coming there and scaring her. Jax is also worried
about Brenda buying back her shares of L&B records. Brenda tells him she
needs a distraction. Jax isn't so sure. Ned comes over, they agree
to be partners in L&B. They head over to the Outback to watch Dara sing.
Edwards asks Jax how Brenda is. At the Outback Brenda is harassed by a
reporter. Brenda is evil to her. Ned calls Jax about their deal. He
worries about Brenda when Ned tells him she's at the Outback. Brenda and
Ned try to convince Dara to sign with L&B. Jax shows up at the Outback.
Brenda tells him to stop worrying about her. J&B exchange smiles as Dara
sings.
The next day, J&B are at her cottage. Brenda has yet
another couch. Jax wants to know more about the reporter who harassed
her. Jax secretly gets the reporter fired. Brenda decides she's going to
run L&B and model. Jax is very concerned, he thinks she's taking too
much on at once. Lucy comes over and gushes to Brenda about the
Christmas campaign. Brenda agrees to do it. Lucy is thrilled. Jax
comes back over to the cottage and wants to know the details of her deal
with Lucy. Brenda is skittish. She feels like Jax is checking up on her.
Jax suggests Brenda get some extra security. Brenda asks him if he's
been talking to Jason since that's exactly what he wanted her to do. Jax
continues to worry about Brenda. Brenda's makeup artist shows up. Brenda
catches her trying to record their conversation when she brings Sonny
up. Jax talks to Jason about Brenda, he's concerned that she's been
acting weird lately. Brenda flips out and gets kind of violent with the
make up artist. Jax comes in and Brenda puts on a fake smile. Jax can
tell something is off. Brenda decides to put more windows in her house.
The next day Brenda and Ned do L&B business. They go to
the Outback and try and convince Dara to sign with them. Jax is also
there. He watches as she works her magic on Dara. Edward comes to
Brenda's cottage and gives her a housewarming gift. He sees that she's
working two jobs now and forbids her to do them, saying she's taking too
much on at a time. Brenda reassures him that she is fine and happy with
what she is doing. Jax shows up later. Brenda gets a wedding gift
accidentally sent by the store. They are sheets with her and Sonny's
initials on them. After Jax leaves, she burns them in her fireplace.
Brenda's house is now fully decorated. Mike comes over
and invites her to thanksgiving. Brenda declines but thanks him. He
tells her he's there for her if she ever needs anything. Jax comes over.
J&B share adorable scenes where they prepare to spend thanksgiving
together. Jax makes fun of Brenda when she tells him she's going to cook
thanksgiving on her own. They go shopping for Turkey Day stuff lol. Very
cute. Montage plays. It's thanksgiving day. Of course Brenda messes up.
She thought she was supposed to cook the Turkey in the microwave lol.
J&B end up eating Smores for dinner. Awww.
J&B are at the Outback eating. Brenda is waiting to meet
Lucy. Lucy comes in she's super excited about the upcoming Jacks
Cosmetics Christmas campaign. In addition to the shoot she's going to
have Star tv there to do a behind the scenes special on Brenda and the
world of modeling. Brenda meets with the producer who wants to make the
special all about her and Sonny. Brenda gets upset, Jax intervenes and
throws the producer out. Brenda is relieved when Lucy is on her side and
says no problem we will just find someone else. Brenda gets excited
about the upcoming shoot.
The next night it's the reopening of Luke's. The whole
town is there, Brenda is there with the Qs. Jax is also there. All of a
sudden there's a drive by shooting. A rival mob boss launches and all
out shoot out trying to kill Jason. Jax dives on Brenda and the shooting
montage plays. Nickolas Cassadine is shot. Brenda freaks thinking it's
Sonny. Jax pulls her away. The aftermath of the shooting plays as the
cops arrive and Jason is hauled away. Brenda has a pre-photo shoot for
Jacks Cosmetics the next day. Jax is also there being Mr. Overprotective
in his cute little way. On her lunch break Brenda goes to visit Nikolas
Cassadine in the hospital.
The next day is the actual photo shoot. Jax sends Brenda
a ton of flowers and is there to support her. As the photo shoot starts
Jax leaves on business. In the middle of the shoot a light fixture
bursts scaring Brenda. It sets something off in her and she starts
hallucinating. She sees a bloody Jason coming toward her saying he and
Sonny are going to kill her. Brenda flips and her break down begins.
Lucy arrives and calls the paramedics. They get her to the hospital.
Lucy calls Jax from the hospital, Brenda is in the midst of a full break
down. Jax gets there just in time and is able to calm her down enough to
allow the doctors to give her a sedative. Brenda is scared to death. She
thinks Sonny is trying to kill her. Jax is a wreck. He and Lucy work
feverishly with the help of V and the Qs to get the tape of Brenda's
breakdown Star tv has from airing. They are successful. Gail Baldwin
tries to counsel Brenda in the hospital while Jax, who is a total mess
goes to Jason and blames him for everything. Poor Jax :( Mike also goes
to Jason later worried sick about Brenda. Mike begs Jason to call Sonny
since he thinks Sonny is the only one who can fix this mess. Jason
refuses saying Sonny can't help. Jax goes back to the hospital and sits
with Brenda, vowing he will never let Sonny touch her again.
At the hospital Brenda is about to go before the review
board. They will determine if she's sane enough to be released. She asks
Jax if they can hold her against her will. Jax says no, they can't have
her committed unless a family member signs off on it and since he hasn't
been able to get a hold of Julia that won't be an option. A nervous
Brenda goes before the review board. When she comes out of the room and
freaks when she sees Julia. She thinks Julia is here to commit her.
Brenda tries to run away. The guards grab her and put her in isolation.
Julia and Jax throw a fit. The next day Julia and Jax are at the
hospital with Brenda. Alan offers to help but Jax partly blames him for
this whole situation since he's the one who allowed Brenda to become
hooked on pills in a way. Julia goes in to see Brenda. Brenda is very
comatose and hardly responsive. Julia cries to Jax. Jax goes in to see
Brenda. He's extremely concerned over her comatose state. She can barely
talk to him as she keeps falling asleep.
Julia and Jax discuss Brenda's health. Julia doesn't
think she's ready to go home. Jax fly's in another doctor to assess
Brenda's mental state. The doctor thinks she needs to stay in the
hospital but is definitely not a danger to herself. Jax visits Brenda
again. She's more awake and tells him she wants to go home for
Christmas. Brenda's regular doctor refuses to discharge her. Jax
blackmails Alan to get Brenda released. Jax brings Brenda home to her
cottage and surprises her with a Christmas tree. They decorate it
together. He lifts her up so she can place the Angel at the top :)
The next day Julia is at the cottage with J&B. Jax hires
a nurse for Brenda. Julia says her goodbyes to Brenda and Jax leaves to
take her to the airport. Jason visits Brenda. He's worried about her.
Brenda is clearly not in her right mind. She kisses him as a way to hurt
Sonny. Jax comes in and punches Jason. Brenda goes into a trance. J&B
spend New Year's together throwing confetti. Ned visits Brenda, he's
also worried about her. Things just keep getting worse for Brenda as Ned
finds out that her manager stole all of her money and now she's broke.
Jax goes to Paris and asks Robin to come back with him to help Brenda.
Brenda's breakdown continues.
