Harry is shot in the caves. He
detonates the bomb just as he dies trapping Sonny and Brenda in the
caves. Both S&B survive the cave in. As time passes they get more and
more sick and start to lose hope. Brenda goes through withdrawls from
her pain meds. She gets sick and has constant hot and cold flashes while
Sonny deals with his claustraphobia. Brenda deals with the realization
that she is an addict. Sonny gets her to talk about her feelings that
led her to take the pills. They talk about everything, the past, the
wire and make apologies for everything bad they have done to each other.
Sonny again tells Brenda that he loves her. "When you have lines on
your face and gray in you're hair, you'll still be the most perfect
thing in the word to me. I love you Brenda." Brenda finds Sonny's
wedding ring and wonders how long Jax will wear her ring after she's
dead. She talks about her love for Jax and how she never wanted to hurt
him. Later Brenda tells Sonny that she lied when she said she didn't
love him. She does love him and always has. They make love for what they
think will be the last time and afterwards go to sleep thinking they
will never wake up.
Meanwhile Mac, Jax, Jason, Miranda,
and Mike have been on the hunt for S&B. They figure out through one of
Harry's business associates that Harry is Brenda's stalker. This leads
them to Harry's office where they find his journal documenting how he's
going to kill Brenda and make Sonny watch. Jax is worried sick. Jason
figures out that Harry has S&B in the catacombs. Everyone heads there
and they find that there was an explosion which sealed off the cave. Jax
refuses to believe Brenda is dead and runs off calling her name.
Sonny hears Jax calling and tries to wake Brenda up. He has a hard time
getting her awake but finally she does an is escastic to hear Jax
calling for her. She yells up to him. He's elated to know she's not
hurt. It's touch an go for a while with S&B's rescue. The whole cave is
quaking and threatens to collapse on S&B a few times. In an effort to
get out of the cave, Brenda reinjures her hip. She also asks Sonny not
to tell Jax about they love making. He agrees. Jax finally is able to
pull both Brenda and Sonny to safety through lots of drama. Lots of
post rescue scenes with Brenda and Jax reuniting and Mike and Jason
celebrating over Sonny being alive. Sonny keeps looking at Brenda. Sonny
thanks Jax for saving his life. Jax tells him he did it for Brenda.
"There's no reason for you to go near her ever again. And if you start
to think you're good for her, then remember what happened here tonight."
Everyone goes to the hospital.
Brenda thinks she might be pregnant and has flashbacks of she and Sonny
making love in the cave. She's guilt ridden over what she did. Jax and
Brenda cuddle in the hospital. Jax tells her how scared he was of losing
her, she talks about her pain over having to write that dear john letter
knowing how much it would hurt him. He doesn't want to let her go
ever again. Brenda is weepy over her ordeal. Mike and Brenda share
scenes. She tells him that Sonny really loves him and told her so in the
cave. Mike is touched and tells Brenda that Sonny loves her. Brenda says
she knows. Mike/Sonny scenes. He knows something good happened for S&B
in the cave. Brenda struggles with her addiction to pills. She tells
Alan that she thinks she's addicted to them. Alan doesn't think she has
a problem. More J&B scenes, Jax blames Sonny for Harry kidnapping
Brenda. Eventually Brenda is released. Jax takes her home and wants to
whisk her off to New Orleans to get married. Brenda breaks down and
tells him about her pill addiction. Jax is very understanding and
supportive. She tells him she can't marry him right now. She feels too
ugly and wants their wedding to be beautiful. Sonny and Mike talk
about Brenda and Harry's partner. They don't yet know it's Pierce
Dorman.
Miranda goes to see Sonny and
overhears Mike toasting to Sonny and Brenda. She gets suspicious Sonny
plays it cool. More J&B scenes discussing her pill addiction, they
are so cute. Sonny thinks of Brenda. Jason and Sonny discuss Harry and
the caves. Mike comes back over and harrasses Sonny about Brenda some
more lol.
At the PH, Jax finds Brenda missing
and freaks out. She comes back in the PH just as he's calling the
police. She comforts him and says she's not in danger anymore since
Harry is gone. She promises to be more sensitive to Jax's residual
feelings over her kidnapping. The press hound Brenda, they take the
phone off the hook. When Brenda goes upstairs, he suspects she's taking
pills. Mike and Sonny discuss Brenda's pill addiction, Mike advises
Sonny to go see Brenda. Brenda's in the bathroom taking a pregnancy
test. Jax bangs on the door and threatens to break it down as he thinks
she's sneaking pills. Brenda hides the test and opens the door making up
some story about her surprising him by ordering dinner. Jax leaves,
Brenda looks at her test. She's relieved she's not pregnant. Jax later
apologizes for thinking she was taking pills. Brenda really wants to
take a pill as she thinks of her tryst with Sonny in the caves. Luckily
Robin shows up and stops her. Nice Brenda/Robin scenes. Brenda confesses
all about the pills and about sleeping with Sonny in the caves. Brenda
is overcome with guilt and wants to take pills. She thinks she's hurting
Jax and can't stand it. Robin tells her to go see Kevin Colins. Jax goes
off to see Miranda, leaving Brenda with Robin.
Taggert shows up at Sonny's PH and
harrasses everyone for a while. At Miranda's, Jax thanks Miranda for
helping him get Brenda back. Miranda says she still wants Jax.
Brenda & Robin talk more about her pill addiction, Sonny tires to call
Brenda but keeps getting a busy signal. He gives in and goes to see her.
Jax and Miranda talk more about Sonny still wanting Brenda. Sonny
shows up to see Brenda. This unnerves her. Luckily Robin intervenes and
takes Sonny away. Brenda cries when they leave and wants to take another
pill. Robin tells Sonny that for Brenda's own good, he has to stay
away from her. Sonny says there is no way he is letting Jax have her. He
gets very upset and throws a glass at the wall. At the PH, Jax
comfort Brenda. She's a mess and says she can't fight her pill addiction
alone. She tries to tell him about Sonny but can't bring herself to do
it.
As the days go on, Brenda continues
to fight her own demons. Jax tries to help her but is unable. Ned comes
to see her, he wants to know why she's been avoiding Lois. She tells him
about the pills. Finally Brenda goes to see Kevin Colins. She pours her
heart out to him. Sonny has flashbacks to Brenda in the caves.
Brenda with Kevin. She continues to let it all out. She's a mess over
sleeping with Sonny and hurting Jax, she doesn't know how to handle
wanting another pill, and she's suffering from feeling inadequate over
her fathers inattention to her as a child. Jax butters up Justus in his
latest corporate raider plan. He wants Justus to help him infiltrate ELQ.
Brenda and Kevin, she thanks him and tells him she's glad she came to
see him. End Disc.
